Visa dates question - probably silly

This is probably a dumb question, but i'm going to ask, as i still have time to fix it, if it is an issue.

We're leaving the US Dec. 21st arriving in Vietnam Dec 22nd.

My visa dates say Dec. 22 to jan 22, i assume this won't be a problem leaving the US, since we arrive on the 22nd? I can just see the airport agent saying "sorry your visa has to include the dates of travel". I'd be really pissed.

anyone know?

thanks
jason

I've been in this situation before in other countries and it has never been an issue. Relax, you will not be turned away.

The VN visa is dated (as per your instructions). VN is very picky, and will not under any circumstances, allow you into VN before the date on your visa. But your circumstances seem clear to me. Your plane lands in VN on Dec. 22, so there should be no problem.

I don't know for sure, but perhaps you could call up Korean Air and ask?

You will be fine leaving the US. The airlines might ask if you have a visa and may even look at it but it really isn't there concern. When we went to china ANA airlines agent asked me if I had a valid visa, I said yes right there in my passport you have in your hands, she said ok and didn't even look.

Aloha!
