Ugh sorry just read that! Yes what a nightmare and yes hope it shows up before you leave for your next stop.
I find walking in Saigon easier than it was in Hanoi or Hue. Mostly because the sidewalks are useable. Few scooters parked there and they are mostly even and clean.
