vietnam
Hello,
I will be traveling to Vietnam in Dec for 2and a half weeks. I would like to make a side trip to Cambodia for Siem Reap. Should I just get a plane ticket from Vietnam and do I need a visa to get to Cambodia? Thanks.

You can get your visa upon arrival in Cambodia. We arranged our flight from HCMC to Siem Reap from the US, I think we used Bangkok Air. If you are returning to Vietnam after Cambodia, you may need to get a multi entry visa for Vietnam.

max10, your questions seem to be answered, thanks to anna_k, but I feel I should make the point that the visa issue is one you should have raised with the appropriate Cambodian diplomatic mission in your home country rather than trust to the opinions or experiences of anonymous posters on this forum.

Neil is right, whether you can get a visa on arrival in Cambodia is a matter of your nationality. For US, Canadian, EU, Australia and New Zealand citizen (as well as some others) visas are obtainable on arrival. Remember that you'll need a visa in advance to return to VN, so you may want a multiple entry visa.
I believe that Vietnam Air is the only airline with flights between HCMC and Siem Reap.
