For a detailed review of our experiences with Uniworld in Russia in August of 2001, please go to this website:<BR><BR>www.cruisereviews.com/princess/Crown7.htm<BR><BR>The review to which I've directed you contains the planning information for the Uniworld cruise as well as details on the Baltic cruise we took on Princess prior to Russia. The Princess cruise review will take you to the Uniworld one.

I've just reread Lucy's comments above about Uniworld having the highest cancellation fees in the industry. At Lucy's company's (Pacific Delight Tours) website I read the terms and conditions for cancellations from their Yangtze River Gold Experience.<BR><BR>Their (Pacific Delight Tours) cancellation fee 70 days or more before departure is $200 per person. In addition there is an * which says<BR>"PLus any charges assessed by land suppliers, cruise companies and airlines, in addition to any revision fees."<BR><BR>Boy, does that ever sound open-ended!<BR><BR>David in Lafayette, CA

My friend Linda & I are taking the Uniworld Beijing/Shanghai trip from March 13 to March 22--nine day trip extended to extra day in Shanghai. I'd appreciate info from anyone who has taken this trip too. Also, I've heard of a group(?) that meets and walks for 2-4 miles, then does exercise like Tai Chi somewhere on a hill---anyone heard of this? And what are priorities of what to see/do in Shanghai from Mon thru Thurs? Thanks.
