I have not heard of anything. You're just as safe there tomorrow as you would have been yesterday. Go and enjoy!

Hi mooky, I'm in beautiful downtown Melbourne too. I saw that warning - and sighed. I think this is a local matter, mooks, more to do with Indian students being bashed up than that all-convenient word: 'terrorism'.

The Mumbai attacks were terrifying - I have no idea whether a bad thing will happen in India, but, I guess history makes it clear that nobody else does either. So relax.

I see you're off in December. Getting close now, eh? What itinerary did you decide on?

I was in Mumbai for 2 out of the last four weeks. I would agree that it is probably as safe or unsafe today as it was yesterday. Security at hotels is quite tight, even more so at the Taj. I never worry about it I have to be honest with you. I would note that your PM is still going to Delhi, he has just cancelled the trip to Mumbai, even thought the FAT Deparment’s warning includes a statement that there are “possible” attacks planned in Delhi.
