One site to search for Japanese train times is www.hyperdia.com
Trains between Nagoya and Kyoto is so frequent that there a Shikansen Nozomi (the fastest train - takes 36 minutes between the two) every few minutes, so you don't need a schedule for those. One way cost is 5,640 yen.
The slower Hikari trains (50 minutes) are less frequent. If you're using a JR pass, then you have to take those because the pass doesn't work on Nozomis.

rkkwan: Thanks for the info. Tried the website hyperdia.com but it is all in japanese.
I arrive in Nagoya at approx. 10:00 a.m. and would like to make a flying visit Mt. Fuji and return to Kyoto the same day. Will this be possible by train and if so will appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.
