Tokyo

We will be in Tokyo and cannot decide whether to visit the Tokyo National Museum or Edo-Tokyo Museum. Only have time for one.
What do you say?

Thanks
David

IMO, the Edo-Tokyo Museum provides an excellent and visitor-friendly experience of the history of Tokyo; the Tokyo National Museum has an excellent collection of national treasures, including some exquisite examples of Japanese art. Your call.

The Hokusai Museum for woodblock prints is a short walk from the Edo Tokyo Museum. You may even see rikishi (lower rank sumo wrestlers) running errands for their superiors.
