Interesting - there's what looks like a new itinerary up the Chindwin to Nagaland....

Thanks everyone.

Thursdays, Yes, the Nagaland cruise is a new one, but only runs a few months each year because of water levels. The crew on our ship recommended it as one of the best cruises. It is one Cheryl and I would be interested in.

As you can imagine, thursdays and crosscheck, we thought about dogster on this cruise.

Just catching up now, Kathie - the cruise sounds wonderful. I hope we can return sometime, and if we do, a cruise will be part of that trip.

Fabulous photos by Cheryl, as usual - they really tell a great story.

Absolutely love Cheryl's photos. Cannot believe the colors and the variety of the temples that you visited.

Finally got a chance to take a look at the lovely photos. What type of camera does Cheryl use?

I am so impressed at how efficient you two are. An extensive trip report and photos edited and posted so quickly after arrival home.

Cheryl uses an Olympus OM-D EM-5 with two lenses on this trip, Olympus 12-40mm Pro lens and Olympus 75-300 lens. She takes her laptop along so she can begin editing her photos while they are still fresh.

Thanks, Shelley. They finally figured out why I was still feeling so awful - kidney stone. So I expect to feel much better soon.

After debating going on another Pandaw cruise next year and deciding to wait until 2017, we have decided to do something completely different for 2016. Currently researching Costa Rica and Mayan sites in Mexico.

We've been to a lot of the Yucatan (never Cancun) many times and some of the Mayan sites. Just ask if you have questions.

Glad it's nothing serious, Kathie. Sending healing thoughts. Happy to help with your next trip. We go to Mexico every year (often the Yucatán) for winter vacation, but headed to CR this year -- have also been there multiple times. A lot easier to get to than Asia!

Thanks for your good wishes.

I will want some consultation from both of you. I'll let you know when I'm up to doing some planning. Thanks.

I am - at last - feeling better. So if anyone has any additional questions about our trip, I'm happy to answer them.

crosscheck and julies, I will be posting a thread on the Mexico and Central America board asking for help with our planning for next year. I will appreciate your input.
