The Worst Tailor In Beijing China! (Located In Sanlitun District)
This is an important announcement to anyone in the expat community who is interested in purchasing a custom made garment in Beijing.
Avoid this tailor at all costs(your cost..not theirs)!
The name of the tailor is: Sally Tailor
They are located at Yashow clothing market, in Sanlitun, on the third floor. When you arrive at the "turd floor"..the shop is directly in front of the escalator. Notice the brass plague on the outside of the store: " no counterfeit "..how absurdly ironic and blatantly deceitful!
Beware of the "silver tongue liar" herself (sales woman)..who calls herself "Jenny". She will promise you a rainbow..then laugh as she robs you blind.
They will first require that you pay a deposit that is 3/4 the total price. When there is any problem with the garment..they will then turn to you and provide the excuse: " That is the way all the garments are made in China."
So..you loose your deposit money..and they just smile..basically say in so many words: "F*#k Off."
There are plenty of custom tailors in this city. Do yourself (and your bank account) a favor..shop elsewhere for custom made garments.
These people are highway robbers..and bald faced liars.
All expat shoppers..visiting or residing in Beijing..beware..beware..beware!
