Thailand, where to go....?

Here I am again, I am going for 13 days, 2 in Bangkok, 4-5 in Phi Phi, any suggestions on a 3rd place to go? I love tropical locations, caves, temples, monkeys, elephants, adventure....

(I was gonna go to Ko Phangan, but not sure I wanna be with a bunch of techno ravers on the beach?)

for elephants, you should to north to Chiang Mai. You also need 3-4 days in Bangkok. So there are your 3 destinations. You can go on side trips from Bangkok to see the temples. Consider getting Bangkok Airways or Thai Airways discovery pass to save money since all these destinations are included.

KPN only has partiers at moon party times once or twice a month. Also, there are beaches on opposite side of the island that are not affected as they're a full 45 min drive from the party beach.

Hi

I would also recommend a bit longer time in Bangkok. It is one of the most amazing cities in the world...amazing temples, great shopping, lots of great food, good nightlife etc. Here is my trip report with pictures from 2002: http://gardkarlsen.com/thailand2002.htm . I went to Thailand in May this year with my wife and we went to Bangkok and Samui I'm actually stopping by Bangkok again tomorrow as I'm in South East Asia on a business trip
