Gene,

I'll e-mail you the journal, but it is rather large. (Over 40,000 words)

Perhaps you should confirm that you wish to receive it as a large e-mail attachment.

Let me know.

Colin,

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading your online travel journal. You really managed to capture the whole sprit of a trip to Thailand, warts and all. It was quite amusing.
Planning a trip to Bangkok in late September and early October. Will the rain be cause for concern?

I've not been to Thailand during late September early October, so I'm unable to comment on the weather.

I have read though, that October in Bangkok could potentially be the wettest month of the year, with the streets prone to flooding.

But I'm sure it would all add to the fun of being there!

Hi
Just finished reading your account of your travels around Thailand. Superb!

I'm going in a couple of months with some friends so you've given me a really good insight into what to expect.

Just one question - is the air pollution along Silom Road really as bad as it sounded (we are also staying at the Holiday Inn) & is Bangkok as a whole grim (air wise)?

Also, the indian restaurant you mention - is that the one actually within the hotel?

Many thanks
Caroline
Just thought I'd write and say how addicted I was to reading your travel log.
John and I plus 2 kids (10 & 8 ) are heading out to Thailand on the 12 th of December and coming back the 5th of Jan. I've been twice before ( 20 yrs and 13 yrs ago) and John once, so I can picture what your showing us. ( Perhaps a little too graphically at times - all that passing through the eye of a needle stuff ! ). I have had my lonely planet beside me as I read your account, we are travelling independently so I'm having to read up allot. I bet if you had not been quite so ill it would have been even better, the trouble is that's so typical of real life.

Can I just ask was the £200 bill your accommodation charge or your mini bar and food? Also would you just head straight out to the Islands next time? We are into the snorkelling in a big way, like you I'm not a fish but you soon forget when there's something worth looking at. Also thanks for the weather report as I was just expecting sun and you have reminded me about seeing beaches out there when its not that wonderful and then seeing how they change when the sun comes out.

So thanks once again for bothering to publish what you saw, after a lot of surfing the net it was nice to read something other than adverts etc

Regards Jayne
