Hi guys!
I have a question, I'm traveling to Asia in 2 months, and have everything all planed out except 2 days: I have the option of going to Singapore one day and Bangkog for 1 day, or just going to Bangkog for 2 days...what would you rather do?

You can do neither city justice in 2 days so certainly don't do 1 at each.
Depends what your after - if upmarket shopping in a safe clean sterile environment with some nice touristy things to do then Singapore is nice for a couple of days.
Bangkok is exciting, intense travelling. Its a quite a bit cheaper than Singapore.
My personal choice would be Bangkok - but either will make a great 2 day stop over. (Singapore probably is more do-able in 2 days than Bangkok)

If you want to visit a place and then check it off your list (and not plan to return soon) Singapore is better for 2 days.
Bangkok and Thailand is a holiday in itself - to visit Bangkok for 2 days and think you've been there seen it done it would be sooooo wrong.

Honestly, 2 days in Bangkok is not enough. There's too much to shop with too little time. Singapore is a better option as you can cover more in 2 days.
Singapore is better for two days and I don't find the place sterile at all.I love the place. It will be much easier to get around in Singapore...use the MRT(subway)plus the distances are very short so taxis won't be that much.I would say that Bangkok needs a minimum of 5 days for a first trip.Happy Travels!
