Thailand Oct. 27 - Nov 25 head south first?
Looking for advice on which direction to go. I arrive in Bangkok via air on 10/27 with 3 nights accommodation and them I'm wide open. I was going to make my way to the Kanchanaburi area first and then head up North but thought it might be better to head to the peninsula/islands first and then come back as the tourist season will still be in the early peak at the end of Oct / begin of Nov and perhaps the islands will get busier as the month moves on. Based on weather and crowds, what would be recommended?
Thanks so much.

But you are correct about the influx of tourists by the end of November. Prices will start to rise as a result. Since November usually means nice weather, the choice is up to you.
Where all do you plan to go? You've got lots of time. It's very easy to plan your trip as you go. I usually buy my Samui or Krabi or Chaing Mai tickets/hotels the day before I plan to travel. So easy to do.

Thank you so much for your reply. I don't really have a set itinerary, just an idea of what areas I want to visit, which could change when I get there. I tend to like to go to places less traveled and don't typically stay in resorts, but prefer small guesthouses. Perhaps going south first, after checking whether, would be good.
