thanks for the directions---i may be slightly turned around, but if you walk along capt. bush to its end and turn right, don't you enter the portugese embassy complex??? isn't it a turn left toward new road?? thanks

You're right. You turn left at the end of Captain Bush. In my feeble defense, I originally thought to give directions from the New Road because I thought that this would apply to more visitors.

As you walk from the Royal Orchid, there's an amusing collection of outdoor sculptures, including many large animals. Our front "yard" in Cambridge, MA is tiny and one of these would occupy more than half the "acreage".

Gpanda - Thanks for the info about the monk's bowls. Hope you got them home without any dents.

No dents. The extra piece of luggage, a duffel bag, made everything easy. In retrospect, I highly recommend having an extra bag available for space and weight considerations. We got this hint from Rhkkhk on this board.
