taxi in Danang

We will be arriving by cruiseship in Danang and would like to visit Hoi An. Would there be any taxies or tourguides available at the pier? Thanks for your help!

I don't know for sure, but based on my last visit to Danang a few years ago, my guess is that you'll have to fight them off with a stick.

Yes, they will likely all speak some English. Some will be quite proficient.

There's never a problem in Vietnam getting where you want to go, as other posters have said. We arrived at Danang train station, wanted to visit the Cham Museum in Danang for an hour, then go on to Hoi An. We were able to work this out in about 4 minutes.
