Suggestions for where to go in December!
Hi all, what are some good suggestions for an ideal getaway during this coming December? I've already been to Krabi and I liked there a lot. Are any other places that is quite similar to it?

So what kind of getaway are you looking for? Are you only considering beach locations? How much time do you have? Are you thinking of the beginning of December or the end of December. As you may know, the end of December is the busiest and therefore most expensive time to travel in SE Asia.
Are you based in SIngapore - is that why your question is labeled SIngapore? Any travel requirements, like no more than X hours from Singapore?
Tell us more and we can be helpful.

Hahaha I'm from Singapore that's why. Yeah we're considering beach locations, but if you have any other suggestions I'll be open towards it. I'm picking towards to 2nd last week of December to avoid X'mas and countdown. There isn't any requirements, maybe just a direct flight. Thanks.

Ok, that helps some. Singapore is a great central location for getting to so many places in SE Asia. So here are a few ideas, in no particular order:
Sri Lanka - lovely beaches, but fascinating historical sites as well. Also beutiful, cool tea country up in the hills.
Cambodia - Angkor Wat, one of the wonders of world, and there are a couple of beach areas as well.
VietNam - you could opt for dividing your time between a beach location and city (maybe Nha Trang and HCMC, for instance or just Hoi An, which has both the nearby beach and the small city).
Sabah or Sarawak (Malaysian Borneo) - There are lovely beaches near Kota Kinabalu and nice beaches near Kuching. Kuching is the more interesting city, IMO, and you could divide your time between Kuching and the beaches at Damai. Or, for something differnt, consider going to see Orangutans in the wild. The Borneo Rainforest Lodge would be my recommendation (fly to Kota Kinabalu, then a short hop to Lahad Datu).
Bali - divide your time between a beach and the area around Ubud.
