Shipping from Cambodia to US
I have run into some very nice furniture at reasonable prices in PP and Siem Reap. Had the crazy idea to buy a set of bedroom furniture and/or doors and ship it back to Los Angeles.
Do you have any pointers I should do this or not? Very new here. Thanks.

It will cost you as much or more to ship it than it will to buy it. Also, furniture shipped to a different climate often has problems with cracking.
The place selling the furniture can probably arrange shipping. But shipping will only be to the nearest port and you'll have to pay to have it inspected, go through customs and be shipped to your home from the port.

Thank you for your reply Kathie. I was not thinking about the influence of climate, you are right. It is very humid here and LA is dry. Need further research...
A freight forwarder could probably help with the shipment.
