Shenzhen shopping spree...
Hi guyz,
Would be having a shopping spree in Shenzhen
1)Where are the bargain bookshops in Shenzhen
besides SZ book complex?
2)Where are the bargain CD/VCD/DVD stores besides PAC megastore in "Hua Qiang Bei Road"?
3)Where to find Post office for international parcel
surface mail ,especially in Luo Hu area,"Hua Qiang Bei Road", "Dong meng shopping area"
What's the parcel rate,is it reliable, advisable to buy insurance?
Is there an official website for SZ post office?
Thanx!

Why anyone not actually resident in Hong Kong would go to Shenzhen to shop is a mystery to me.
I've never noticed a bargain bookshop in Shenzhen, unless you want titles in Chinese. Only a very limited range of English titles is available in China, although Shenzhen has a few more than some other places.
There are fake disk shops about every ten paces in Shenzhen. Don't expect all of what you buy to work, and if you pick up recently released movies expect them to have been shot with a video camera from the back of the auditorium.
There's a post office open 9-12 and 12.30-5 on the ground floor of the north end of Luo Hu Commercial City, the shopping mall at the border itself. Parcel rates are here:

Insurance is very cheap, and in theory includes tracking.

Mainland China doesn't have bargain bookstores. The prices are printed on the back cover, inside back or inside front of the books themselves. Any bookstore's prices will be the same as any other's.
