If you post a question under this topic it's less likely to be seen by people who might genuinely give you free unbiased advice than if you start a new topic of your own. Then if Mr Helpful really is helpful he can post a reply to the board under your topic, and help EVERYBODY out. Don't encourage him.

WE would like to travel by train from hong kong to beijing stopping en route. how easy is it to get tickets? Just wondering if it is possible to buy a rail pass of some sort that allows you the freedom to travel around the country. Any idea how easy it is to get internal flights and how expensive it is?
