Ooops! I'll have to resend your "stuff" then. I just emailed the business card/map plus several photos of a two bedroom suite to kuranosuke. I'll resend it. I should have waited for your reply instead of jumping the gun.

Isismnroe, the same "package" is on its way to you as well. Let me know if it doesn't work. I downsized all the scans so that they would send more quickly by email.

The Jim Thompson house/museum is just down the klong maybe 50-75 yards. I'm sure there is a stop there. There isn't one right at Patumwan House itself.
The first time I stayed at Patumwan, I heard the noise of the boats on the klong and didn't know WHAT was going on since I knew we were not on a busy street, but at the end of a very quiet soi. I looked out the window and saw the klong and then one of the boats went by. Then I knew what the noise was. It was quite interesting to watch.

Carol: I'm confirmed for a deluxe with window or balcony for an entire month. But am double checking again if a one bedroom is available.
But if I cannot get a one bedroom, the deluxe (studio) looks good because it still looks spacious and we plan to take one to two day trips out of town as well take a one week vacation to perhaps Myanmar or Hong Kong or Malaysia and we can leave our luggage in the deluxe room at the Pratumwan House.
Thanks so much for the recommendation. The Pratumwan House is very near the skytrain and near shopping.
My next dilemma (but a good problem) is the itinerary.

That's great! I hope you enjoy Patumwan House as much as I (we) do. It's basic, but clean, and very friendly. And yes, you can leave your things in the room while you are away.

I finally took a look at the new Patumwan House web site. It's pretty basic, no photos. I'm happy to share my few photos with anyone here who wants to take a look at a 2-bedroom apt configuration.
