Seoul based trip in July
I'll be spending 9 days in S. Korea with my 21 year old daughter (who speaks Korean). We'll spend quite a few days in Seoul and 1 evening in Incheon before departing back home.
Thoughts on itinerary? We won't have a car, and would prefer to do more quality time vs. chase every must see site. We also love the mountains and serenity more than city scene.
Thanks in advance!

There is a lot of great hiking/mountain scenery in Seoul you can get to via a subway ride. A long subway ride. Check out Gwanaksan Yeonjudae, Sammaksa, Namhansanseong Fortress to the South, and Bukhansan National Park to the north. Start out early!
Aside from that the entire peninsula is almost completely mountainous. You can go almost anywhere and find spectacular mountain scenery. Where the cities end,the mountains begin.
It's not quite clear to me if you want to go hiking (and how much) or just see the scenery.
