I could just keep going on and on about Nerula's and Bengali Market...If you do not have an over-sensitive stomach you should try the dhabbas along the highway!!

Hello Hobbes. We will be at the Dehli Marriott..but will have a driver. Open to pretty much any kind of food and anywhere in the medium to high price range. Thank you

Personally I'd pass on the highway food stalls. Why take a chance, esp. while away from home? Nerulas is OK for a quick lunch if you are in CP. For dinners any of the 5* hotel restaurants should be good. There are several Richie Rich restaurants around Delhi too and those we have found to have good food. We lunched at the Hilton Trident one day and found that to be very good too. Have fun, Larry

I think the Marriott in Delhi is in Saket i.e. South Delhi. Do go shopping one day to Santushti shopping complex and try the restaurant inside Basil & Thyme open only for lunch. Also try pure veg South Indian food during your trip - a good place to go is Sagar Ratna in the Ashoka Hotel near Santushti. Bukhara at the Maurya is justly famous for their black dal and kebabs. Def make a reservation as waits can be long. Japanese style food at the Grand at Vasant Kunj, Enoki restaurant very good. A great fusion cuisine place for a lovely formal dinner near your hotel is Olive - again reservation a must. Ask for an outside table. In Vasant Vihar not far from your hotel is a North Indian food restaurant Punjabi by Nature - good food, reasonable, order their raan - leg of lamb. It is an experience.

Thanks for clarifying your food preferences and budget. We had fantastic Northern Indian meals at Bukhara at the Maurya Sheraton and Corbett's at the Claridges Hotel. We also enjoyed our Southeast Asian meal at Spice Route at the Imperial. I don't know if these are "new" suggestions or not as I have previously posted all of this in a trip report. Enjoy your trip.
