Hi we are family of 5 all adults/young adults travelling to georgia from UAE for 6 days, this will be our first time visiting this beautiful country. We'll be staying in Gudauri. We are thinking to rent a car for our trip but a bit skeptical if its safe enough to drive there. I've read some blogs about horrendous driving there. Is it easy to get around on our own? But we dont want to spend alot in taxis/ tours Kindly suggest ASAP as we start our journey tomorrow.

I did not see any unsafe driving practices during my 8-night stay, and we traveled plenty by car.

If driving is unsafe, you realize taking a taxi is still driving...
