I note for the record that the original post in this thread referenced a similar thread in 2004. There must be something about that higher path thing that serves Red Sox Nation well. On the other hand, 86 years of hating the Yankees and bemoaning our fate availed us nought.

Thanks to all that put in a good word or deed for the beloved Red Sox. While I am a Patriots fan as well, they will sink or swim on their own merit. No external forces will be sought or requested. They can rest up until next year.

Schilling on board, perhaps Lowell next?
