RATT'S SUGGESTIONS
Need advise, just received an e-mail back from Ratt. We will be going to the floating market, she also suggested on going to Wat Sathathum, Wat Bang Kae Noi, and Kai Bang Khung. I have not seen any information on these places and I'm wondering if it worth to include them on our trip. Has any one been to any of these places?

This isn't really answering your question, but we have Ratt for 2 days coming up next month..
We are doing the floating market one day (have been before 10 years ago)and are just leaving the rest of the day open incase something interesting comes up..
And the next day we are doing the Grand Palace and Jim Thompson house..and also see if something exciting comes up that day too...

I agree. Ratt is extremely flexible and we changed our itinerary several times in mid-drive.
If you go to the Porcelain workshops, you will be amazed at the wonderful detail work. We bought a souvenir cup and saucer in the less expensive shop that is really beautiful.

i found the most interesting part of the pottery shed was the forming of huge pots (throwing) and the largest kiln i had ever seen plus the small trees used to create the heat...the small shop there has fantastic buys...

they did have a small section where they were making the benj. pottery....i am not sure if they are the same but i suspect so...ask ratt if they make both benj. and huge pots like would decorate a hotel swimming pool area... then i think it is the same...
