Rajasthan

Hey guys, will be in Rajasthan soon and am just looking for the names of any reliable tour operators in the state? Has anyone been on any trips, or can suggest a few - I'm looking for someone to arrange a trip of about 15 days covering a few of the bigger cities.
Thanks

We had a great trip with yatrik.com. You can read more about it here:

I also heartily recommend Yatrik. We are currently in Udaipur now on a trip cooridinated by Yatrik. I keep expecting some glitches (because this is India after all), but it hasn't happend. I definitely think they are way to go.

I would suggest you opt for the travel packages offered by RTDC (Rajastahn Tourism Development Corporation), website:http://www.rajasthantourism.gov.in

A number of packages are available which are tailored to cater the varied interests of the tourists. Some are offered from Delhi, too.

We used Castle and King in Dec. 2007 and they were fantastic. Arranged everything for us and things went very smoothly. We were gone for 16 days. I highly recommend them!!

Hey Guys,

So this is a little late, but better than never, no? So I ended up going with 'Deepak Dhandh' of 'V Care Tours & Travels' (www.carhireinrajasthan.com) and couldn't have found anyone better. Not only did I have an excellent tour, but he was such a nice guy that I still keep in contact with him - I could go on and on about it, but then you'd probably think I was working for him! Anyway, if you need someone, even just for some local info, give him a call.

- James

James thanks for the follow up. How did you find this company? Can you give us a quick run down of your itinerary.
Thanks J
