Question about www.asiavoyage24.com
I've seen many posts on this site about asiavoyage24.com having the best rates, but has anyone on this board actually booked with them and then stayed in the room they booked. The site seems legit, but some of the hotel prices are so low I'm starting to wonder if there is something going on there.

There are lots of good hotel booking sites online. In my experience, no one website has all the best prices. So it pays to check a number of sites. By the way, make sure you are looking at comparbale bookings. For instance, the prepaid bookings typically include tax and service which otherwise adds substantially to your bill. Alos note whether breakfast is included.

I agree with Kathie, always cherck what is included and don't just look at those 'from' rates, check what the total will be including tax, service and breakfast.
Also look for 'choice', some sites might offer say 5, 10, 20, 30 places on Koh Samui and others could offer 120+ different places to choose from. Also look for special such as free night offers, some offer free transfers or cheap transfers etc. It can also vary from country to country, when I go to Australia I use an Australian service, they are one of the biggest localy and it works fine, they are Australia based to any queries handled localy. There certainly have to be advantages in dealing with local operators as they are actualy 'in country', who wants to dial across the world and get put on hold !

Sometone mentioned a rate on a particular site I think for one of the big BKK hotels but that rate did not include tax, service so when you added it on it became more expensive. Check what the total rate is, it can be like booking a cheap flight, watch for hidden add ons.
