Pandaw ceasing all operations - so sad.
I received an email very early this morning saying that due to Covid, Pandaw is going out of business. They will still continue their work in helping the people of Myanmar.
I was so sad to hear this and will always remember our cruise in Myanmar.

I’m also very sad about this. We took two Pandaw cruises, one in Myanmar and one from Cambodia to Vietnam. Both were excellent and supported local people. Was hoping one day to take the Ganges cruise in India.
I think while the political situation in Myanmar has no doubt contributed to the decision, covid and the dearth of international travellers has been the main reason for the closure.

I am also very sad that they are ceasing operations. The cruise we took with them on.the Chidwin River was simply amazing. Far off the tourist track, we saw no other westerners until we got off the boat at Homalin, where we flew back to Yangon.
Jobin, they did cruises in not only Myanmar but also Cambodia, Laos and VN.
I am glad they will continue their charity in Myanmar. They do wonderful work in a place where international aid workers are not welcome.
