Osaka-Kyoto-Shiragawa-Tokyo

We will have a trip to Japan

Osaka-Kyoto-Shiragawa-Tokyo

14-24 December 2016

1. Is the Amazing Osaka 2-day Pass worth the money?

2. Anyone experienced taking the Nouhibus from Takayama to Shinjuku or Tokyo?

3. I'm not sure a JR Pass worth for my trip, so planning not to buy, as after calculation of it, I think Osaka Amazing Pass is worth to purchase.

4. I need suggestions for my transport from Takayama to Shinjuku or Tokyo. The economical ones, please.

Thank you FOR YOUR INPUTS AND SUGGESTIONS.

You are trying to pack a lot into the time you have!

4. For transport options, see

I assume you know that Shinjuku is in Tokyo.

<<Shinjuku is in Kyoto>>

Uh, the order of your letters is fouled up. Shinjuku is in Tokyo. It is NOT in Kyoto.

You must mean Shirakawago. You don't need a JR Pass. Take the limited express train from Osaka to Kanazawa and then buses across the mountains and on to Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The economical way to get around in Osaka and Kyoto is by using Subway and Bus.

Buy single use tickets or pay cash in busses is cheaper than buying Osaka Amazing Pass and Kyoto Bus Pass.
