Patrick - I've been loving your report. Sounds like a fabulous trip and now I'm going to dream about minced beef balls with steamed aged tangerine peel with a view of the Hong Kong harbour. I'm looking forward to the rest of your trip...

Oh NP -- Just found your report and it is absolutely TERRIFIC! (I only hit the Asia forum a few times a month so somehow didn't see it earlier)

It's wonderful that you are taking Lee along w/ you. Off the Star Ferry is one place I'd want to be scattered too

the klong tour. . . you'll just have to wait for the Bangkok report, too much for now. But coming soon I promise.

OK. I've posted my week in Bangkok, starting a new thread for Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos.

Here it is:

Patrick, you weren't imagining it, but the Hong Kong Harbor is indeed much smaller than it used to be. There has been a lot of filling in the harbor on Kowlood side for new developments.

Patrick: I have finally caught up with you, your China trip reporting is super, so vivid and detailed, and going solo strong. Scattering Lee's ashes made my eyes moist, now he can enjoy China too.
