Mountain resorts

I remember reading about some beautiful and tranquil mountain resorts, but forget where it is... any suggestions for 3-4 days of quiet rest, spa, that is NOT on beaches. Many thanks!

In Thailand, the Anantara at the Golden Triangle is a fabulous resort with a wonderful spa. I highly recommend it. If you do a search on this board, you'll find many reviews of it.

I was waiting to add some suggestions until OP advised which country, but I guess I will throw in the Jirung Resort and Spa just outside Chiang Mai which is a health resort and spa with "all suites" rooms ($90-125)and the Phu Chasai in Mae Chan about $60
