Absolutely next time I will be looking for all the Fodors help I can get. Next big trip on my radar screen this year is France, but maybe I can squeeze in Asia in the next 18 months somewhere!

Hi, Low Country Islander.
We are going to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Cambodia in March and I read your trip report with interest; especially the food parts! It seems you ate and drank what you wanted and did not experience any ill effects which is good to know.
The doctor at the immunization clinic has given us quite a list of food items to stay away from. The doctor is of course erring on the side of caution but as food and wine lovers we are not sure we can follow his advice!
