Didn't know about the 2nd operation. Eyesight the same, - this means sending even more healing vibes and thoughts Andy's way.

andy had a 2nd operation around the first of the year to de-bulk the growing tumor. it left him with diminished sight, especially in his left eye. this was an expected outcome of the op. it was hoped that the sight might improve after the swelling went down, but unfortunately this has not happened.

he says that his sight overall is "fogy"

we will be talking to them later today and K will give an update here for you all.

I just popped over to this board to see if there was any news as I think he was due for another scan this month. I so hope we will all be getting some positive news in the near future.

GPANDA update… K had a discouraging e mail from beth today dated Tuesday… Andy had his normal scan and it showed substantial regrowth of the tumor.

She says his cognitive skills have deteriorated significantly and that “he is not himself”… We are distressed to hear this..

I miss Andy's great presence here and his delightful sense of humor. This is more distressing news. What a cruel disease for both Andy and Beth to bear. Thoughts and prayers...

thanks for bringing this ttt again.... he now needs all the positive thoughts we can summon for him, and especially for beth.

The Cambridge sky is gloomy and after getting the sad news it has turned darker.

So sorry to hear this.

Dear Beth- If you are reading this please know how much we all are praying for both you and Andy. I think of you each evening as I scan the sky for falling stars to "wish upon".
