Candle for Gpanda burning here in the Bay Area, Northern California. Sending nurturing nurse vibes to the hospital room. Sue, what a loving idea to start this!

Your update is much appreciated Bob. Talking is good.
I was thinking about Gpanda while swimming at the Y and did an extra few laps in honor of his fortitude today.

Dogster summed it up perfectly.

Time to exhale albeit, very slowly and cautiously, with a worried glance over the shoulder.

Thank you for the update. Talking, having color, and considerable vision despite the post-op swelling sounds absolutely great to us. We'll take it.

The candle-lit-'round the world strategy has no expiration date. We will continue to think of Andy and all of you -- all of you who need some rest and TLC, I might add.

Please tell Andy that the sun has broken through the haze again today in the Panda's ancestral land. I am quite sure that it is an omen.

Well, Fodorites, I am still holding Andy Pandy and his family in my thoughts and prayers but wanted to paint this wonderful picture of how us world travelers came together to think of one of us--- it could well be us, you, or me. It is good that we have this day and time where we can plan and dream about our next exciting trip to Asia.
As we all did the thing that was right for us be it pray, send healing thoughts or, vibes or white light.... whatever it was, it had to have a great power, it just has to have had an effect. Do take a look at this list, and some did not say where they were doing their candle lighting or thought sending from, but, take a peek at this, which happened in a 24 hour period (or less)

Fodorites were on board from:

Chicago Illinois,
Hawaii
The U.K.
Honolulu, HI
Seattle, WA
Qc, Canada
Michigan,
Bloomington, IN
Virginia
MA
MA
Florida
Unknown ?
California
Beijing, China
Maryland
Unknown?
India -Trichy
Italy
Sydney Australia
Sweden
San Diego Ca
Bangkok
Japan
MD
New York City
Singapore
Unknown
W Australia
MA
CT
N CA
Unknown?

The following days will be another fight for health and healing, I just know we will all continue to hold Andy and Beth in our thoughts and prayers.

Best wishes from New Hampshire. I'm reassured knowing Andy's getting the best medical care where he is in Boston. Thanks Bob for updating us.
