Kyoto accommodation

Trying to find accommodation close to Kyoto station for 4 night in September. Much booked out.
Airbnb has variable limited range. Found this apartment hotel, Citadines Karasuma-Gojo Kyoto. Is the distance reasonable to Kyoto train station? any comments?
Is it better to look at airbnb's south or north of the Kyoto station. Thanks

If you were to put the address of that Citadines into google maps, it would tell you that it is 1.4 km on foot or one metro stop. Whether you consider that "reasonable" is up to you.

FWIW, I prefer to be in the Kawaramachi district than around Kyoto station. JMO.

I found the Kawaramachi district very convenient for sightseeing, as it is near several different subway lines, at least one train station, various bus lines, and within what I would consider walking distance to places like Pontocho, Gion, and the central sections of Higashiyama. It also has lots of interesting restaurants and shops (and I say that as a non-shopper).

The location of Citadines Karasuma-Gojo Kyoto is convenient enough. It is only one stop by subway from Kyoto or Shijo-Karasuma.
I prefer Citadines over airbnb around Kyoto or Kawaramachi.
