KUCHING,BRUNEI & KOTA KINABALU

i am flying in to kuching on the 23rd of April 2009 and out of kota kinabalu on the 6th of May 2009. I need help with my itenary. I am not interested in beaches or diving. But things like parks and Museums. i also intend to go overland between kuching through Brunei to Kota Kinabalu. Thanks

I'm not sure about going overland through Brunei. Have you researched this?

This trip was viable some years ago.....but overland through Brunei, as Kathie has mentioned, needs very careful consideration.

Great trip report Kathie.

Do you know if I can arrange flights to Borneo at relatively short notice once in KL?

mefcom - sorry to hijack your post but we are also looking at Borneo for March 2009.

vhs, Glad you enjoyed my report. I would expect you can gets flights on short notice if you have a little flexibility. As I remember, the flights were pretty full.
