Im about to book flights to Colombo Sri Lanka in January. Im then going on to Nerja Spain.
Im having some issues trying to find reasonably timed multicity flights ... Ottawa - Colombo - Malaga - Ottawa, avoiding early morning departures, arrivals and 8 hr layovers.
Does anyone have experience with the best connections and airlines?
Should I do each (3) legs as one way or a multicity trip?
I want to leave Ottawa January 17 (dont mind taking bus to Montreal YUL) to arrive in Colombo Jan 19. Then leave Colombo to arrive in Malaga February 3 or 4th. Then depart Malaga around 9 April to Ottawa.

This might be a good itinerary to use a consolidator unless there are specific airlines you want to use. My favorite is Airtreks and may find you business class for not a great deal more than economy, as they have for me in the past. They don’t usually do simple rt tickets nor 2 continent trips, which is why this 3 continent trip of yours qualifies.

I suggest you have a look at their site, try the trip planner feature but contacting one of their agents with your specifics is what you’ll ultimately want to do, if you decide to see what they can offer. I recommend the company.

Thanks mmePerdu. I did contact them and though helpful ultimately I found better options and prices.
I would use them if I didnt want to or have time to do any searching myself.

It actually was easier to do each leg separately. I had more options doing each custom than having to juggle all the moving parts.
