Hey habsfan- you sound like you are a fellow Canadian but really you should be a leafs fan....
you will have an amazing trip, see my trip report from December.
There is a “village tour” we did out of the sygiryia area- just google bullick tour, cooking, village tour and I am sure you will find it. We really enjoyed it. There is also a spice tour on the way to Dambulla that’s a great short stop- your driver will know it- really nice place there for lunch and you will see how all the spices are grown- cool!

Thanks for your trip report. I particularly came looking for the name of a local tourist agency so will check out Antiquity. I've been wanting to go for a long time and I'm feeling now is the time to go before it gets even more popular.
