Japan: What is going on w/Hyperdia??

Hyperdia has been down for almost two weeks. The week before last and last week, it had a message on the front page in Japanese but it had dates in red so that I could figure out that it was supposed to be up each week on Friday. But now it is all in Japanese and it is still down. Will someone who can read Japanese please tell me what the page says now?

It says thank you for using hyperdia and apollogizes for the suspension of service due to maintenance. A link is provided to access pages in Japanese that will give you the schedules and so on, but no English to be found there. It does not say when or if it will be back in service, and English is not mentioned at all. Sorry...that's not much help. The other place that I use, www.doconavi.com, doesn't have English either. Someone posted another site that had Engish schedules, but I don't remember what it is. Sorry...

I checked on Yahoo asia and this one came up, not sure if it's what you need but it seems to work:

Good, I know so many still search 'in a certain habit way' and although I don't know about other areas certainly for Asia I find Yahoo way the best.

That works, yes. Why couldn't they just put a link to their English page on the top page in Japanese like they did before???

As mentioned above this site is better imo than Hyperdia anyway.

Also check out www.japan-guide and the forum there. Very, very helpful.

Have fun!
