It's our day...BillT and Kathie
Happy birthday today, Nov 7, to my fellow Asia board fodorites born on this day! I'm the oldest... 65 today! I've just registered on line for medicare!
I'm having a girls night out tonight, since DH and DS are both out of town until Monday. Should be fun. Had a nice happy birthday call from a friend in Germany. The day is off to a good start!

Enjoy your girls night out. Cheryl went off to get croissants from our favorite French bakery for breakfast. Later today we'll have a Tai Chi lesson, and we'll finish the day with a souffle and champagne.

Kathie, your day sounds lovely. If you ever want to write about the experience of studying Tai Chi, I would love to read your thoughts. It is something that I have been wanting to do but I'm all talk, no action.

Dgunbug, (Happy Birthday to you) I have a good friend whose birthday was also yesterday; and the friend from Germany who called me this morning has a son with a Nov 7 birthday... maybe that's why he always remembers mine! haha

we are sitting on our back porch facing the river... it is just at the mouth to the entrance to the channel into the town waterway.... lots of traffic bringing people and motorbikes from other side of the wide perfume river.... overloaded boats i might add... the current is very swift... overcast but perfect temp...
