Indian e-visa rules

Hi there! At the moment I'm in India on a 5 year multiple entry tourist eVisa but I have some questions regrading this visa because I don't understand and cannot find any information about the rules. I am allowed to stay 180 days per calander year in India. This means twice 90 days from the 1st of January until the 31st of December but does this also means twice 90 days from the 12th of June, my arrival date, until the 31of December? What if I leave India for Nepal after 60 days and come back 3 weeks later? Is my visa still valid for 30 days or for 1 week? If it is only valid for 1 week do I have to leave India after 1 week? Or will the counting start again and can i stay for 90 days and have to leave then? Will my visa still be valid for 1 week after that? What if I my visa is vallid for 2 months and I arrive in India on the 7th of december 2024. Can I stay until the 6th of January or will on the 1st of January my new 90 days start and I can stay until the 31st of March? According to the info on the website I am only allowed to enter to country flying or by boat. According to the immigration officer at the airport I am allowed to enter the county overland via for example Nepal as well. Is this correct? How many days do I have to leave the country in between those two 90 days periods? So many questions and unfortunately no answers f rom the e-visa office so I hope to get answers this way...
