I have not stayed at the Ibah in Ubud but did spend quite a bit of time in Ubud. You can't go wrong visiting Ubud or Bali. Rooms are easy to find. I suggest you make a reservation for the first one or two nights of your stay and if you like your hotel stay, if not look around. Remember most prices are bargained down in Bali, sometimes more than half.

I stayed at the Ibah two years ago and loved it. We had a gorgeous room (number four?) that had a very large private sunning/patio area. The bathroom must have been 15 by 25 feet. The service was top notch and the location is great. It's right off the main road (so you don't hear traffice) but close enough to walk to everything in Ubud.

Have fun!

the ibah looked great when i was in ubud a few weeks ago---i guess it depends what you want to spend--their rooms were more than $200--and I think you could find very nice rooms for less than $100--and if you want to spurge--you could go the the four seasons--the tjampuhan is nice, for example, in ubud proper
