How many days to spend in Koh Samui?

How many days to spend in Koh Samui?
Is 3 full days enough time to spend in Koh Samui? That wouldn't include travel days. Also where is the best beach for swimming with young kids, and possibly snorkeling for them? I'm looking at the Peace Resort or White House Resort.

the sea is very calm at peace resort...water was not crystal clear when we were there in june however
as i have probably said before peace would be perfect with kids...lots of room for them to wander about and a couple of large lawns for them as well as a gym set or two--swings, etc...they will like the food as well...if your budget permits ask for a beachfront bungalow--there are only 5 and they are the most expensive...
