hotel and itenarary suggestions
We are planning a trip to Bangalore from US in December. Have 3 nights stop over in Kuala Lumpur. We are senior citizens; and interested to know a convenient hotel to stay, and places to see during the 4 days. Is there enough tlme to make a day trip to Singapore? We appreciate all suggestions. Thanks.

Price range for your hotel? In general I recommend staying on/near Bukit Bintang, a fun walking street with lots of good restaurants.
Three nights in KL is about right for exploring the city. Do get yourself a guidebook so you can choose things that interest you most. I'm interested in local crafts, so always visit the Central Market. There is lots of interesting architecture if that interests you.
A day trip to Singapore? Do you really want to use your limited time that way? If you must do a day trip, visit Malacca for a different kind of experience rather than another huge metropolis.

Hi
I have been to KL a couple of times and I think Traders is a great hotel. I have posted my review of the hotel in my KL trip report on my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com/malaysia_kuala_lumpur.htm . Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions
