pls dont forget...
u both
are on honey moon.
most important is privacy, quiet times, ( soft bed ? )
and things that you say
and do...
the background will be there...

Option 2 it is !! Though Chiang Mai is too good to miss on your honeymoon 
else you guys will jus end up travelling a lot !
stay at the President Park ..its lovely..and affordable..
the price is around 2,150THB/night.
