Barry-My husband & I got married 25 years ago on Kauai-This October we are celebrating our Silver Anniversary in Bali ||(along with 3 weeks in Thailand)Make sure when you book your room to let them know it is your honeymoon-you will probably get upgraded.
Plan some day to go to New Zealand-we thought it was the most beautiful clean country we have visited. The Maldives are on my wish list-Congradulations-Chris

Since you'll probably have to go through Singapore to get to Bali, I'd spend three full days in Singapore on your way home and I'd put the splurge money on the Ritz Carlton Singapore only if you can get a marina view. The Ritz Carlton Singapore is not outrageously priced. The luxury hotels on Bali are. If you fly on Singapore Air, they usually have all types of great hotel deals in connection with their flights, plus you'll be on the #1 voted airline in the world. Contact them directly to get the website for the airfare and hotel packages. I can't remember the website off of the top of my head. My memory is totally foggy today. Happy honeymoon. Happy Travels!

One of the most romantic places I've ever stayed is Tegal Sari in Ubud. The rooms vary in price and amenities, but range between $40 and $80. They all over look the rice fields and Monkey Forest. The place has a nice swimming pool, great breakfast and offer tranquility and a sense of real life in Bali. They used to run a regular shuttle into town and would also take you to any of the great restaurants in town after dark and pick you up when called. Trust me on this one!!!
