Honey moon SE Asia

Hi, we want to go on honeymoon somewhere in SE Asia. We are currently living and working in Thailand. Has anyone got any good ideas for mid to end of August?

Bali or Vietnam. In both you can get a lot of luxury for much less money.

What do you want to do on your honeymoon? It is mostly just relaxing, or do you prefer more active exploring? Are you interested in cultural activities? outdoor activities? wildlife?

Hi, sorry been away, hence not replying...

A bit of both, relaxing and activities, interested in culture and outdoors. Quite social. Would like a bit of luxury too as normally do Asia backpack style!
Have not been to Bali or Vietnam, so thats interesting...

I would think Halong Bay is a good destination for honeymooners.

Bali has the best weather at that time, but August is also the peak of it's high season, so parts will be crowded and more expensive than usual. However, if you stay away from the main areas, maybe explore the northern side of the island, you can still get a bit of posh for not much dosh.
