Haneda to Renaissance hotel in Ginza

Please could anyone tell me the best way to get from Haneda Airport to the Renaissance Tobu hotel in Ginza ? Does the limousine bus stop at this hotel or is that only from Narita airport ?

Thanks,

It looks to me like none of the limo companies that operate out of Haneda go to Ginza.
Looking at the map

for the Haneda airport limo service, it looks like your best bet would be to go to Tokyo Station and take a cab from there.
The cab should only run you $10 or so. It's too far to walk and I'm assuming you're entering the country here?

If you know your way around, you could take the subway to Higashi-Ginza. If you'll be new to the city and loaded down with luggage, I suggest taking the cab.

We stayed at the Renaissance in March and it was great. The area is lit up with lots of neon at night. The fish market is a short walk and it was awesome!

angel is right. The closest it looks like you can get to your hotel from Haneda using the limo bus is the Tokyo station. It's a short taxi or subway ride from there.

Hope this helps

It also looks like you have to change trains if you take the subway. If it's a short travel day, you may have a tolerance for taking the time to figure this out.

If it's me on a travel day, I'd take a cab. Oh, it will be closer to $20 I hit the wrong key. Of course this is for both of you?? and your luggage - which the cab driver will load for you and unload into the arms of the bellhop at the hotel. And remember there's no tipping.

Thank you both for your advice. We are actually flying into Narita having spent a week in Kaui, but are transfering to Haneda for an onward flight to Akita. We then fly back to Haneda and have 4 nights in Tokyo before going on to Koh Samui. The day in question won't be too bad a travel day as Akita to Haneda is only a short flight, but we will have all our bags so changing trains would be a pain! A taxi from the station sounds the best bet. How would the monorail from Haneda then taxi compare with the limousine bus then taxi? Sorry if these are really dumb questions but it is really useful to get advice from people with direct experience.

Thanks,

You could send your bags from your Akita hotel to your Tokyo hotel and not carry them with you at all. It takes an overnight, sometimes 2 nights (rarely). Your Akita hotel will be able to help you through the process. You will need the address and telephone number of the Renaissance hotel, and clearly mark your name and arrival date on the shipping slip as well. Cost is around 2000 yen per bag, a bit more if it's huge. You will rarely see Japanese people with luggage because this service is so widely used. We've been using it for 11 years without a hiccup.
