Guess He's Ditching the Backpack

So, I was siting in the Premier Lounge at Bali's airport (which is my favorite lounge in the world - it has a better view than most hotels on Bali), thumbing through some magazines, and what do I find but a small blurb on a new through Thailand, Laos and Cambodia from 'adventure' travel agency Similing Albino.

What's surprising about this, you ask? The tour is lead by none other than 'Mr. LP Thailand' Joe Cummings. Despite promises to show you 'hidden corners' of SE Asia, this ain't no backpacker's tour. Check out the hotels on the itinerary:

Holy guacamole!! That is one expensive tour! I hope they are eating caviar and drinking fine shampagne each evening!

A quick estimate using the same hotels and I come up with $4,300 per person on a twin sharing basis.
