You called, so I thought I'd sound in here.
A GTG sounds great, but as I told Shanghainese in another thread, my holiday plans are still as of yet undefined (still trying for a last-ditch island trip). So I'll have to be a tentative for now.
But the thought of hongshao rou with fellow Fodorites sure is enticing!

You know, I hadn't focused on that but I remember that one Chinese New Year's we had Peking Duck at Our Place, as part of a set menu. It was very good.
Yet, a couple years ago a restaurant "Peking Duck," opened on East 53d street, nearby. It is the second of two, the first one still being in Chinatown. They make a heck of a duck . . .
Hope to see you soon.

I may be able to make lunch that day so count me in unless something dramatic happens.
I know I haven't been posting as much as I used to but hoping that will change and I want to meet some of the Fodorites who haven't been to the Boston GTGs.

I'd love to do this -- let me know the date you pick -- I'm close and it's the perfect time of year for me.
A thought too -- I've fallen in love with Thai Privilege Spa in SoHo -- they are an authentic Thai spa from the foot baths to the ginger tea and sawadee kah -- maybe some of us would like to book a treatment too?
